After a project ends successfully, you’ll see the option to set a “Project status” at the top of the creator tools menu, located on the left side of your project page. You may also see a pop-up asking for an updated Project status once you have a completed project.
This status is a quick and easy way to let folks know how your project is progressing since it ended.
The default project status will be “No rewards made”. To change this, simply choose one of the options from the dropdown menu, and click “Save”. After a status is intentionally set for a project, a fulfillment indicator label will be added to the overview of that project that is visible on the Creator tab of a project page for repeat creators. Once you've marked your project as 'Fulfillment complete', you'll no longer see the Project status dropdown in your creator tools.
Below you can see which fulfillment indicator label will be added to a project based on the status that has been set. We’ll encourage you from time to time to review your project’s status and confirm it’s up to date, which in turn helps to make sure a project’s fulfillment indicator is accurate for potential backers.
-

It’s important to remember that when you set a status for your successfully ended project, this is intended to act as a quick overview of where you are with production and fulfillment, and should not be seen as a replacement for project updates. We still encourage you to post regular project updates to give your backers a more detailed insight into the work you are doing to bring your project to life.
