Kickstarter’s offering of Late Pledges will provide creators with the opportunity to collect pledges after their crowdfunding campaign has ended. Backers who pledge within this Late Pledge phase will be added to the backer report. For creators who use a third-party pledge manager, there are some things to know!
Where will I see information in Kickstarter about Late Pledges?
New pledge information in your Late Pledge phase will be reflected in your backer report. The ‘Pledged’ column will show the date the pledge was made for easy reference.
When should I set up my pledge manager?
We recommend setting up your pledge manager once you’ve finished collecting Late Pledges on Kickstarter. This is so you have an easy, one time transfer of pledge information.
Will Late Pledges be sent to my pledge manager?
Kickstarter won’t automatically send any new pledge information to third-party pledge managers, which is why we recommend waiting until you’ve finished collecting pledges on Kickstarter.
What do I do if I have set up my pledge manager already and have started collecting Late Pledges?
Some platforms use an API to get backer information, which is a one-time import. Others allow for multiple manual imports. See table below:
