The Fulfillment dashboard is a tool to help creators track and visualize the fulfillment status of their project after it successfully funds. This feature links to both the backer report and Backer Surveys where, as a creator, you can keep track of fulfillment signals like the number of backers, response rate for surveys, and the percentage of rewards that have shipped.
The Fulfillment dashboard also provides a custom overview of important logistical numbers relating to the fulfillment of your project, such as:
- Number of pledges per country for international shipping
- Number of backers per reward tier and add-on for budgeting
- Reward item inventory breakdown for manufacturing
- Downloadable reports for planning production and fulfillment
Additionally, if using Kickstarter’s Backer Survey tool, you’ll also see the automatically generated SKUs for your reward items, along with the count for each. This number will be final once all backers have responded to the survey.
By placing this information side by side on the same dashboard, we hope that this will help you as a creator to get a better idea of your project’s overall fulfillment progress.
Pledge Breakdown
The pledge breakdown at the top of the Fulfillment dashboard can give you a clearer understanding of the final backer number for your campaign, and how this relates to fulfillment. You’ll see the total number of backers, alongside the number of pledges with rewards and the number of pledges without a reward.
If your campaign had any dropped pledges, a count will appear alongside the other pledge numbers. If there are no dropped pledges, this information will not be displayed.
Surveys & Rewards Graphs
Survey completion rate
When using Kickstarter’s Backer Survey tool, the survey completion visualization will show you what percentage of your backers have received and completed a survey - you should aim to reach 100%.
If you’re ready to ship rewards, but still haven’t received all survey responses, you can message the backers who haven’t responded yet by using the “Not responded to survey” filter in your backer report.
Rewards fulfillment completion rate
Fulfillment completion shows the percentage of rewards that you have sent to your backers and is directly tied to the ‘Status’ column in the backer report - which you must manage manually as you ship rewards. An up-to-date visualization will be generated as more pledges have their status changed to “Shipped”.
If you have already started to ship out rewards, but have not kept track of the ‘Status’ column on your backer report, the text below the visualization provides a link to the backer report where you can select specific pledges and use the “Quick status” button in the bottom right corner to mark them as “Shipped”.
Fulfillment completion shows the percentage of rewards that you have sent to your backers and is directly tied to the “Rewards sent?” column in the backer report - which you must manage manually as you ship rewards. Use the “Rewards sent?” tracking option on the backer report when your shipping process has begun to generate an up-to-date visualization.

Rewards & Fulfillment
The main overview of the Rewards & Fulfillment section shows the percentage of funds raised specifically for shipping. Here, shipping costs collected from pledges with a shipping option are taken into account. For example, if a backer pledges to a $50 reward tier with a $10 shipping fee ($60 total pledge), the $10 shipping fee would count towards the shipping funds that appear in this display.
All displays and charts in this section pull logistical reward data specified when you build out your rewards - shipping funds by country, by rewards tier, and itemization of the reward inventory. The more information included in your reward tiers, including itemization and costs, the more accurate these visualizations will be around fulfillment expenses.
Shipping destinations
This table shows you where your backers are located around the world, and can help you to begin to plan for international fulfillment by specifying collected shipping funds for each country. This feature uses the per-country shipping costs specified per-reward tier when you set up your project.
Please note: If you did not specify shipping fees on a per-country basis on your rewards, this table will be hidden from your Fulfillment dashboard.
Reward tiers
This table shows which reward tiers your backers selected, and provides a better snapshot of what you will need to plan for fulfillment by specifying the number of pledges made under each reward tier, as well as the total amount of shipping funds collected for each tier. This information is also available on the campaign page and backer report.
To get a summary of the number of rewards you need to produce and fulfill for each reward tier, click the “Download report” button* at the top of this section. The downloaded report will include the number of backers confirmed, partially refunded, and dropped (fully refunded), in addition to the reward type, name, reward tier description, including which items and how many are included in the reward tier.
Add-ons
This table provides information about add-on rewards, including the number of unique backers who selected the add-on and a total count (in the event that some backers added multiples of an add-on to their pledge). This table will only appear if you created add-ons for your project.
To get a summary of the number of rewards you need to produce and fulfill for each add-on, click the “Download report” button* at the top of this section. The downloaded report will include the number of backers confirmed, partially refunded, and dropped (fully refunded), in addition to the reward type, name, add-on description, including which items and how many are included in the add-on.
Items
This table helps you to plan how much inventory you’ll need to produce for each unit that will be shipped. This feature uses the reward data you provided in the reward itemization and quantity specifications when creating your rewards.
To get a summary of the number of reward items you need to produce and fulfill, click the “Download report” button* at the top of this section. The downloaded report will include the number of backers confirmed, partially refunded, and dropped (fully refunded) for each reward item.
*Please note: Data in these reports is likely to change for 7 days after your campaign ends successfully, while we work to collect pledges. After that period concludes the only changes would be if a backer is refunded by the creator.
SKUs
When using Kickstarter’s Backer Survey tool to collect item variant preferences from your backers, you’ll see a SKU table at the bottom of your Fulfillment dashboard. Here is where you can see all of the automatically generated SKUs for your reward items and how many backers have selected each specific SKU as part of their survey response.
