Funds collected in the Kickstarter Pledge Manager will be paid out every 2 weeks (14 calendar days), starting 3 weeks (21 calendar days) after your pledge manager launches. Each payout reflects a 2 week period of collected funds, with a 1 week processing period.
Your pledge manager must be open for a minimum of 3 weeks, at which point a button will become available for you to close it for your project. After it has been closed, any remaining funds will be processed and the final payout will begin initiating 2 weeks from the date your pledge manager closed.
For example, if your pledge manager launches on January 1, the first payout will begin initiating on January 22, for the period January 1-15. If you were to close the pledge manager on January 31, your last payout would initiate on February 14. Please note that when a payout is initiated on a non-business day your financial institution may not show it as processing until the next business day.
After a payout has been processed, and 48 hours after the funds are cleared by your bank, you can view each payout by selecting ‘Payouts’ from the creator navigation bar, located on the left side of your project page.
Similar to all other project payouts, please allow up to a week after a payout is initiated for the funds to appear in your account.
Where can I find the amount of tax collected for each Kickstarter Pledge Manager payout?
You’ll be able to find this information by clicking on a Pledge Manager payout, located on the ‘Payouts’ page. Here you will see the breakdown of funds (shipping and taxes) and deductions (Kickstarter fee, payment processing fee, taxes to be remitted by Kickstarter) for that payout. To access an invoice from this view click the “Download invoice” button at the top and print the page.
