Please be informed that Apple Pay will be temporarily unavailable on Kickstarter.com until otherwise stated. Apple Pay will still be available in the iOS Kickstarter app, and pledges can be completed with a credit or debit card.
Apple Pay is Apple’s mobile payment service, it allows you to use your iPhone’s stored credit or debit cards to make payments easily using your phone. To use it to pledge on Kickstarter you’ll need to make sure that you’re using one of the following devices: iPhone 6 and later models, Apple Watch-compatible devices (iPhone 5 and later models), iPad Air 2, iPad Pro and iPad Mini 3 or later.
You can find detailed instructions for how to install Apple Pay on your device here.
You can also use Apple Pay on the Web to pledge to projects on your computer. In order to do so you will need to make sure that you have Apple Pay set up on your iPhone, that you are using the latest version of Safari, and that your computer and mobile device are connected to the same Wi-Fi and Bluetooth networks.
If you meet the requirements for Apple Pay on the Web, you’ll see an Apple Pay link in the rewards section of a project. Once you’ve selected your reward, you’ll need to authenticate your pledge using your iPhone.
