Your project’s backer report is where you can keep track of all your backers and their pledges.You can find this in the creator navigation bar, to the left of your project page.
In the backer report you can message backers, issue refunds, add free items, update the fulfillment status for pledges, and make any edits to addresses*. If you are using Kickstarter’s Pledge Manager you will also be able to send tracking numbers and digital rewards to backers.
At a glance you will be able to see the backer number, name, pledge amount, location, status, and pledge date for each backer. To make it easier for you to find specific backers there are a number of filters you can also use. These include:

Rewards, Add-ons, and Items and SKUs
These filters can be used to view backers based on the rewards they selected, or items within their pledge. -
Status
Filter backers by the current status of their pledge collection, pledge manager or survey completion, and by the fulfillment status set by you. -
Location
This list can be filtered by any of the countries selected by your backers. -
Pledge amount
Enter a min and max amount to be displayed. -
Backer entry point
Use this filter to see which backers pledged while your campaign was live, supported during Late Pledges, or joined through the Pledge Manager. -
Payment option
This filter will only be available if you enabled Pledge Over Time for your campaign. -
Pledge date
Enter a date range to see only pledges made during that time period. -
Actions
Any actions that may have been applied can be found here. For example, if you have issued any refunds you will be able to filter by “Refund issued”. -
Backer email address
Enter multiple email addresses, separated with a comma, to view a specific group of backers. -
Backer type
See which of your backers were pre-launch or project followers before pledging. -
Previous projects backed
This filter shows you who is a returning backer from one of your previous projects.
Additionally, you can choose to segment a particular audience and save it as a filtered view to return to in the future. Some examples of filtered views that may be useful are:

Backers who selected the payment option “Pledge Over Time”
Saving this view will allow you to keep an eye on the collection status for these pledges. -
Backers who followed your project during pre-launch
Using this view you can see which backers followed your project ahead of launch. -
Backers who have supported your previous projects
See who has supported you before on Kickstarter. If you want to send a thank you message, or add a free item, this filter will help you find those backers to do so.
*Can I edit a backer’s address in the backer report?
Yes! If a backer has submitted their address to you, either through the pledge manager or backer survey, and you need to change it for them, you can do so through the backer report. To do so, simply click the three dots under the gear icon for that backer and select “Edit address”.
Please note: The backer must have submitted an address first. If they also need to change the country this will be at your discretion. We recommend making sure that no additional shipping fee is due in the event that the country is changed.
