Push notifications for the Kickstarter app, for both Android and iOS, require the use of a token. In some instances, such as when you change your device or log in to multiple devices, it will be necessary to “refresh” the token to allow notifications to be delivered successfully.
If you’ve stopped receiving push notifications, here are a few things you can try:
- Navigate to your Kickstarter Account settings, click the “Log me out on all other devices” button, and log back into the app on your device. Doing so should refresh your token and resume the delivery of push notifications.
- Head to the Notifications tab of your settings and check your preferences. You’ll notice an icon for email and mobile alongside each notification option. Make sure the mobile icon has been toggled to “ON” (i.e. blue) for any notifications you wish to receive.
- Double-check your mobile device settings to ensure that push notifications have been toggled “ON” for the Kickstarter app.
