Yes, after you have launched the pledge manager for your project you will be able to make edits to some of the information you previously added.
To view and edit your pledge manager settings, head to the Pledge Manager page and click the “Settings” button. If a section is editable you will see an “Edit” button next to it. If a section is read-only you can click the “Review” button to view the information added but no changes can be made.
Please note: Any edits that may adjust the total a backer is charged at checkout, will only apply to backers who have not yet entered the pledge manager for your project.
For backers who have already started the process of completing the pledge manager they will see the existing settings. If you need to collect any additional funds from a backer who has already entered or completed the pledge manager, you will need to work with them directly to make an alternative arrangement.
The following edits can be made after launch:
- Welcome message
- Rewards & add-ons:
- Add new rewards and add-ons using existing items
- Edit the settings of any rewards and add-ons that have no (0) backers
- If a reward or add-on has already been pledged to, you will only be able to edit:
- Availability of the reward for upgrades
- Quantity of the reward
- Per-backer quantity of an add-on
- Shipping costs:
- For flat rate shipping:
- Shipping costs
- Shipping destinations
- For weight-based shipping:
- Item weights
- Weight tables and costs
- For flat rate shipping:
The following edits cannot be made after launch:
- Backer survey
- Tax settings for items, your tax information, and tariff costs
- Shipping origin and main business addresses
- Your selected shipping rule (weight-based or flat rate)
