You can view the responses to your Backer Survey in your backer report, this will include any information you requested, such as backer addresses, SKU selections, and the responses to the item and backer questions. The backer report can be easily exported as a CSV file to be opened in Excel, Numbers, or any spreadsheet program.
On your project’s Fulfillment dashboard you will also be able to see the automatically generated SKUs for your reward items, along with the count for each. For any SKUs without variants that don’t require a Backer Survey response to finalize, the SKU count will match the item count. For SKUs that require backer selections, the counts will be updated as backer responses to the survey are collected. This number will be final once all backers have responded to the survey and can help to determine quantities needed for production.
Please note: The backer report export contains personal information about backers, and it is your responsibility to protect it. Do not share it with services or third parties you do not trust. If you do use backers’ information with another service, like a shipping partner, make sure to read their Terms of Use and Privacy Policy to see how they handle private information.
Can I personalize the SKUs in the SKU table?
Yes! While SKUs are automatically generated based on the item name and/or variant values added for each when building your Backer Survey, you will be able to make any changes to them by going to the SKU table of your Fulfillment dashboard. Please keep in mind that a SKU will be required for each reward item and that every SKU must be unique.
SKU example:
If one of your item names is “Reward 1”, and in the Backer Survey you add both a ‘Size’ and ‘Color’ variant with a selection of values that a backer can choose from, when a backer selects the values “Small” and “Blue”, the SKU that would go with their selection will be: Reward1-Small-Blue.
If your item name is longer than three words, the SKU name will be truncated to the first three words of your item. Following the example above, if your item name was “Awesome and Cool T-Shirt,” the SKU would be AwesomeandCool-Small-Blue.
For items where there are no variants created in the Backer Survey, the default SKU will be the first three words of the item name.
