Backers will have the option to update the address they submitted as part of their survey response, up until addresses are locked.
When you’re ready to start shipping rewards you can lock addresses on the ‘Backer Survey’ page. After addresses are locked we will alert backers that they have 48 hours to make any last minute changes to their address. At the end of this 48 hours, any backers who have submitted their survey will no longer be able to change their address.
Please note that locking addresses does not stop any backers who are yet to submit their survey response from still doing so. As such, we recommend waiting until all backers have completed their survey before locking addresses.
Backers will only be able to make changes to their address after submitting their survey response. If they need to adjust their answer to any other survey questions (for example, reward size or color), they will need to contact you directly and any important edits can be left as a note in your backer report.
Can backers change their shipping country?
No, backers cannot change their shipping country after the project has ended. If the incorrect shipping fee was collected due to an incorrect country/region selection, you will need to work with the backer directly to find a solution outside of Kickstarter.
