If it’s been more than 4 weeks since your last update, and your project is still in progress, we allow backers the option to submit a Project Update Request. This is to signal to you that they’d like to hear from you. We encourage you to follow-up promptly with a new project update within 7 days, to show your backers that you’re listening and that you appreciate their support.
While we expect creators to update their backers at least once a month until they have fulfilled all of their backers’ rewards, if you need more time before posting a new update, we encourage you to be clear with your backers about when they should expect to hear from you next. Setting expectations will go a long way to keeping your backers happy.
