An owner or executive of the business or nonprofit entity must verify their identity information; they’re considered the entity’s Representative, and must have authority to represent the entity, and raise and receive funds on its behalf. This person must take part in the creation of the project, and their name will be publicly listed on the project.
The entity’s information, including name, address, and tax ID must be verified as well. Further, any individuals or other businesses that own a significant stake in the entity, and any individuals who serve as directors of the entity, must verify their information too, as requested.
Please note that using a Representative who isn't taking part in your project can result in actions like Kickstarter canceling your project, as well as damage to your reputation.
