I’m looking to run a Comics project

You're doing it. Whether the journey has taken a year or ten, you're now bringing your comics project to life. And you're already well on your way to sharing it with the world just by being here!

Getting started is the most crucial step, so we've prepared a bunch of really useful resources to help you to the finish line. Being prepared is the best strategy for any creator, so take a deep breath and take it one day at a time. You've got this!

If you’re looking for some inspiration, take a look at the Comics Explore page. We’ve also shared some of our favorite projects below:

  • Pearl Low created TENSION to talk about her own experiences learning to love & accept her natural curly hair.

  • 45 cartoonists shared their autobiographical comic about living with anxiety to create Sweaty Palms, an anthology to help destigmatize mental illness.

  • The Nib has published thousands of comics from around the world, and they used Kickstarter to publish their first quarterly print magazine, featuring non-fiction, journalistic, and political comics.

  • A five book series, Pass Me By is a queer rural tragedy following Ed, a reserved old man dealing with dementia in a small Canadian town.

  • I Am Hexed had us at ‘supernatural political thriller’, a comic about the political struggles of modern day witches.
